Photoshop work
the polar bearsThis image was created with photoshop. Mr. Fitz assigned the students to use a picture of 3 polar bears to put in a different setting. I decided to cut them out of their original setting and put them in a living room watching tv. I placed a polar bear looking thru the window because the original picture only had it's head is sticking out. The other polar bear is laying on the couch just relaxing. Lastly I placed the walking polar bear moving towards a pizza on the couch and saying "Is that pizza?!" This Photoshop project has room for some improvement. I could of placed the "Is that pizza?!" in a thought bubble instead of it floating around. Also, I could of put the pizza on a plate instead it floating on the couch.

under the deep blue seaThis work is my first time using Photoshop. Mr. Fitz gave us a whole bunch of separate photos and one photo of what it supposed to look like. I added a mask for the zebracorn because it's under the sea. I used the magic wand tool to cut out the seaweed and placed the zebracorn in it because it's hiding from the giant octopus. This Photoshop project has room for improvement. The octopus could of been tilted a little to created some depth to the picture.

news write-ups
"This year 8th graders have received Ipads. They're white. these Ipads are being used for classwork and homework. Each Ipads comes with a brown case to protect it from getting damage.
Mrs. Perossio is very excited for students to use the Ipads. She said, "I am excited for students to be using technology in the classroom." When ask about the safely of the Ipad she said, "i trust that students won't break the Ipads and the students can have their textbooks in them. Students can type up their notes and carry less paper. Some students think that the Ipads are a bad idea because some students aren't responsible and might lose it. However, some students think that the Ipads are great to take notes and to do their classwork and homework. Mr. Fitz thinks that it's going to be a big transition for students and teachers. he said, "This is definitely going to be a big learning process for everyone. Overall, I think it's a necessary step for both teachers and students to adapt to 21st century learing." |
Ipads for 8th gradersThis work showed on the left explains how the eight-graders will receive their own Ipads in the 2013-2014 school year. For this assignment I had to interview some teachers, administers, and students for their opinion of the Ipads. I interviewed Mrs. Perossio (principle), Mr. Hopper (Seventh grade math teacher), Mr. Fitz (Music & Multi-Media teacher), and some students in Franklin. Pages, located in the Ipad, helped me to created this document for Wildcat TV, Episode one. This document has room for improvement in spelling and phrasing the words in the sentence.

Education celebrationThe work showed to the left is my logo for Education Celebration. I choose the tree as the symbol for this event because every student grows by learning new information and developing many characteristics. These characteristics are words representing the branches in the tree. This poster has room for improvements because I think I could of done a better job on the drawings placed on the tree with the stairs. Also I think that I could of put some dirt or ground under the tree and the grass.

Cyber Bullying logoThis work showed to the left is my project for the Cyber-Bullying logo for the Wildcat TV, episode one. I used photoshop for this project and I had to use the magic wand to clean up the original letters from the keyboard to put the other letters I needed in color. I used this font because I thought it looked like old school typing letters. This project has room for improvements because I think that I could of make the colored letters bigger and make the letters pop-out. Also for the words "Cyber Bullying," I could aligiment it better with the keyboard.
